Judge Robert Minor has served as District Judge of St. Clair County since January 2009. Judge Minor assumed the duties of Presiding District Judge in September 2011.
Judge Minor handles all civil cases in District Court, including small claims actions. He serves as Juvenile Judge in all juvenile dependency actions and presides over a dependency/family drug court. Judge Minor also presides over all child support cases and sits as a specially designated Circuit Judge in divorce actions.
In July 2013, Judge Minor was elected as President-Elect of the Alabama District Judges Association. In addition to that judicial association, Judge Minor also is a member of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges and is a graduate of the National Judicial College’s general jurisdiction course.
Judge Minor is married with two children.
