Changes to St Clair County Court Precedings - Updated

See additional orders regarding St Clair County Courts below.

Below you will find link to two Administrative Orders addressing “Person to Person” contact within St. Clair County Courts and reopening as of May 18th, 2020.

Please notice that all jury trials are suspended until September 14th, 2020.

Beginning Monday, May 18th, the Clerk’s office counters will be open to receive payments and filings with a full staff. Individuals will still be asked to complete paperwork for PFA’s, warrants, filings and such outside in the hallway. Six foot distancing will still be implemented. There will be hand sanitizer available on counters and the use of individual face masks are encouraged. Our outside drop boxes are available for your clients to drop payments and I would appreciate your advising them of this. There are instructions on these drop boxes and supplies to make it as easy as possible for use. These boxes are checked twice a day and items are processed as quickly as possible.

Please be patient with us as we try our best to keep everyone, staff and consumers, as safe and well as possible.
